Rasoarimanana (26) is married, has 2 children & works as a farmer in Ambohibary Lohariandava-Brickaville district.
.
.
Enduring a 2 day labour at home, Rasoarimanana sadly delivered a still born baby and after birth began leaking urine.
.
.
Life with Fistula was hard, but after 8 years of suffering, hearing Noria’s story (a former Fistula patient and now patient ambassador) Rosoarimanana had hope there was a cure and decided to come to our Fistula Care Centre in Toamasina. On the 20th July Rosoarimanana underwent successful surgery and is now completely dry.
.
.
Full of joy, she was dancing during the Viavy Meva Celebration, is self-confident once more and has even trained to be a patient ambassador.
.
.
She gave special thanks to God and to the Freedom From Fistula team for giving her a chance to change her life. Her dream now is to be part of her community again and to wear pants.
.
.
Please join us in wishing Rosoarimanana well for her future. A future with dignity and hope.
